I’ve noticed that I never blog more than 1 month apart. That is a good sign because I wouldn’t want my blog to become totally devoid of listeners.

Anyway, I wanted to tell everyone that my home number has recently been mistaken for a massage parlour’s in joo chiat.

Twice now, uncles have called me to ask if this is joo chiat or the “an mo zhong xin”.

Isn’t it just great? I now have people thinking I’m a pimp. It’s only when I keep saying “ I dun know what you are talking about” that they finally realize I’m actually just an innocent young boy.

Here’s something only you privileged blog readers shall know about me.

Sometimes, after I turn off my mp3 player, I don’t bother to remove my earphones. Part of the reason is that I’m lazy. But the other reason is that I am hoping I get to listen to the people who talk behind my back. I figure they will probably not bother to whisper since they think I can’t hear with my earphones. So that’s when I get to listen to everything.

Ok it’s lame I know. But who cares?

I find it hard to say certain things now. It’s like I feel part of being an adult means keeping more things to yourself. Only kids can say whatever they want and not have to worry if they are opening up too much.

I would like to be treated as an adult soon. I feel that people will always have the impression I’m just a kid. It’s only when they’ve known me for some time that they realize I’m actually matured enough for my age. I am honest enough to admit that I am not completely matured. But being matured for my age is not too bad either.

The thing is that I don’t want people to have to know me for 3 months before they realize I’m matured. I want people to know I’m an adult within the first 5 minutes. Because the first impression is a lasting impression. I really need to look more like an adult if I want to have any chance with job interviews. I must therefore work out and beef up.

And I shall talk less too. Only with close friends and family shall I just let loose the cannon that is my mouth.
